my birthday...
today was a good day. I woke up at seven. got up, got to take a shower first while Jeff got Petra up and fed her and changed her messy diaper. Then we went to Farmhouse for breakfast. French Toast with fruit and stolen bites of Jeff's ham bacon cheese and tomato omelette. Petra got to ride in a forward facing car seat for the first time and the smile on her face seriously made my whole day. She held her little tiny pink stuffed poodle the whole way. I really think that she is starting to realize that I am someone to love. She has been really cuddly all week and for Petra that is a huge deal. She is very independant. I have been loving it. After breakfast Petra took a nap and I got to watch a whole episode of ER uninterupted. Then me and Pita just chilled. I love just playing with my funny funny daughter. Then after another nap for Petra, we went to Target to comb their clearence racks. Shopping on a budget. I made a few purchases, nothing costing more than $13. yesssss. Then I came home to feed the daughter and eat pizza with my hubby. my darling dear hubby who gave me a sweet card and an awesome pair of earrings that he picked out himself. he has good taste. All day I fielded calls and texts of birthday wishes. I am too blessed. I like simple unstressful days. I'm easy.
oh and Brittney and Bryce Gurr stopped by to give me the tradtitional gift of corn nuts and Fresca. man I love those guys.

did you get my bday text? no. i totally forgot. i forget spencer's every year. happy late bday to you.
just the other day i was asking spencer, "who in the world still watches er?!" now i know. i can't judge it. i've never even seen an episode. but it's pretty amazing that it's still kickin'.

yeah, the third thursday in sept. my house. we're doing sub sandwiches. what do you guys want to bring. drinks, sodas, etc. invite whoever you want. we'll get together every third thurs of the month. what time do you guys want to do?
yeah I started watching the reruns on TNT when they started the series over. It's kinda sad. I try to tell myself its not a soap opera, but who am I kidding.
and as for third thursdays... for reals. I will bring chips. and what, like 11:30 or noon? What time works for everyone else?
