a few things

a few things I am so over
:: adult acne. when do I get to grow out of this? I mean, really.
:: stretch marks. sometimes I feel like a pink zebra.
:: clutter. the amazing speed at which my delightfully straightened apartment gets unstraightened.
:: routine. brush my teeth, wash my face. brush my teeth, wash my face.
:: diapers. dirty ones to be precise.
a few things I am considering.
:: dying my hair dark brown. lets face it. I am not a natural blonde anymore.
:: having one child. how do you people do it?
:: getting a spray tan. skin shouldn't be transparent. or burnt. such a dilemma...
:: getting a baby sitter. an outside-the-family babysitter, to be more specific. for the first time.
a few things I am fond of.
:: laundry. a washer and dryer that work make it much more satisfying.
:: trees. sway in the wind trees, sway.
:: dance. petra dancing. dance parties. dancing by myself.

oh chelsea, call me a delayed blogger..

1. i think my acne is worse now as an adult

2. i am so stoked for shaq. i WAS pissed because i think he is a poor excuse for a basketball player (anyone his size can do what he does. stand, grab, pass, stand, grab, place in basket). BUT i have had a change of heart becase a) its funny and b) its just what our team needs to win

send my love to your family!

i want to copy.

i hate adult acne, but more so i hate pregnancy acne... i feel pre-teen all over again.

i clean up the same mess at least three times a day. i'm definitely over that.

you should totally go dark, i wish i had the ability to go either dark or light. live it up. i'm very limited, unless i want to be a cholla with blonde hair.

is it too late to consider having just one child?

Chelsea, you are so kind. I loved your comment. And you know what? I think you're a SEER too and maybe you just don't realize it.

"pink zebra" is the most relate-able, funny line. and with the inevitable mess constantly around me, i feel much like a caged zoo animal.

i'm impressed that laundry is on the good list. having a family of 5 makes laundry and all week thing. i keep thinking if i could just get one of those fancy schmancy front loaders, i'd love laundry again. but today, it's just a grrrr....

i've told my husband (multiple times) this week, that i am done having kids. 2 suits me just fine. he is not ok with that...

but seriously. how DO people do it?

and i hope you are liking your new surroundings...i know from experience how hard it can be to adjust to a new place, away from family, when all you see all day is the four walls of your home and your child. but it gets better. i promise.

kayleen - copy away... thats flattering
diana- now I am imagining you as a blonde pregnant preteen chino...
angela - too generous. I only wish I was...
sar - I literally, literally, LUST after front loading LG washer and dryers. its disturbing to most. I always have to touch them when I see them...
jaime - my hubby neither. I have NO idea. and thank you. I appreciate the love. It has been... an adjustment. still is.

Love, love, love the photo! The out-of-family babysitter for the first time is a tough one, but def. needed & worth it for your sanity! Maybe try having the sitter you'd like to try over while you're still home working on some type of project you can't do with Petra, then you can see if you really like and trust her before you leave her on her own?
