Shortly after we moved in, I started thinking... is this water a different color? hmmm. I shook it off, thinking that it was reflected from the heating warmer lights that give off a yellowish light. (a wonderful thing by the way, warmer lights from the ceiling... after-shower cold-air blast? not on its watch.) Then it started getting ... worse. It kinda came and went so I thought I was paranoid or crazy for a while. Until last Sunday morning when... this.
I mean, YOU can see it can't you? So we called maintenance and they said they'd come by while we were at church. Now, I didn't think I needed to leave the sink full like this for them to notice it... so I didn't. But I shoulda, cuzzzz when we came back from church they had left us a nice little note that said "checked it out, looked okay, follow up later." uh.. what? If they ran the water for more than a second they woulda seen it was BROWN. Not water's natural color. So I had to call again, and this time I filled every sink in the house and tub full of brown water. No argument this time. I know. I really showed them huh?
I ended up getting a brand new water heater.
