it's all a blur

christmas eve 2009

I made petra look at rilla, but it's still a great picture.

there was a lot of great moments this year.

bowling and mexican food with friends.

crowded christmas lights with family.

last minute shopping for and with the husband.

lots and lots of just sitting and relishing being at home with my parents and siblings.

but among my favorite moments, are these.

rilla and jonah loved each other and chatted, held hands, and loved on each other, never making the other cry. it was a.dor.a.ble.

these boys were never too busy to help petra play, or explore nana's christmas decore.

and these boys... the look on petra's face says it all. finally, she is over her fear of elliot.

yeup, good holiday, good trip, as always.

of course, my utmost, positively favorite moment

was inadvertently catching my brother karl dancing to

miley cyrus' "party in the u.s.a." surrounded by girls.

...priceless
