old photos make me happy. the tones, the mystery. it's a moment by moment time machine. a split second in time, frozen. surely God gave us photography out of pure kindness. such a simple thing, such a large benefit. the hearts of the children turn to their fathers. philotic reachings to bind us.
i love them so much, it almost makes me not loath having my picture taken, for posterity. almost.
