outnumbered

looks like Jeff will be even more outnumbered. it seems we are expecting a little girl... a tiny girl... a precious girl... we think. the synographer (that's a word I promise) told us that she was "80% sure it was a girl." Not sure what to do with that 20%... but for all intents and purposes we are considering our unborn child a female. Of course, after speaking to her as a girl for the remaining 4 months or so, and it turns out it IS a boy, we could have a very confused child on our hands. Here's to hoping for that 80%... (a little boy would be great too... I just like to know what's coming). and it's already begun. I was at target yesterday and upon passing the baby section I found myself pausing for an extended length of time staring at all the tiny shoes... and onesie's... sigh. a girl. a little baby tiny precious girl. poor jeff, one more finger to be wrapped around. it's unavoidable.

ahhhhhhhhhhhhh. a little girl...lovely.

i hope at some point in my life i can wander into the little girl's section with the intent of actually purchasing something for my own flesh and blood.

sigh.

Not only will Jeff be outnumbered but you're running out names: as far as I know there was only one girl in battle school. You might have to start modifying names (i.e. Julian = Julia). Or you could just call her Valentine.

Congrats! That is so exciting! Although that 80% thing would make me a little nervous. You might want to have another ultrasound with someone that is a little more positive. :)
