today we welcome a new president.
today the nation celebrates and unites.
regardless of my politics, or yours, you can not deny that it is a thing to behold.
but now I would urge us all to remember, this is just the beginning. after reading President Elect, excuse me, President Obama's Inaugural Address, I feel as though he does indeed feel the gravity of this, and our deep responsibility. I surely hope so. (I must add that I was skeptical, but his words were indeed memorable and stirring even to me) I hope that he indeed ends up to be the leader everyone believes him to be.
I pray for him. I pray for his safety. I pray for his family. I pray for his sound mind. I pray for his humble heart. I pray for his wisdom. I pray for his strength. I pray for his moments of stillness, perhaps on his knees, where he can feel guidance and inspiration from above. I pray for his desire for those moments. I pray he is open.
regardless of what your voter registration card says, regardless of how I voted...
Mr. President, God Bless. God Bless.

He seems like a legit dude. I didn't vote for him and I don't necessarily agree with what he want to do for our country, but you have to admit there's something about him. Regardless, he is our president and I hope he'll do a good job.
Good to have you back in the blogging world. You were missed.
well said, dear chelsea, well said.
