a few things I am so over.
:: bags under my eyes. nothing makes you look old faster.
:: my lack of interests. I think I used to have hobbies... didn't I? at some point? I mean, I had to have liked things... I think.
:: being flatless. I am in desperate need of round-toed flats. shoes that is. black at least, preferably another color as well. I can't seem to find some I like and can afford. suggestions welcome.
:: if I say being pregnant, who will roll their eyes?
a few things I am considering.
:: going back to my natural color. I think I can make it, since I am already half way there. we will see what happens after that.
:: overhauling the apartment and finding the money to organize. watch out container store. (anyone else get strangely excited by the container store?)
:: refinishing some furniture. yeah, it's hard for me to picture me doing it too.
:: doing more things in downtown seattle. we have lived here a year and got lost there this past weekend. what are we, tourists? psht.
:: getting a wheat grinder. I could get dead serious about food storage and the cannery.
a few things I am fond of.
:: grapefruit. a ridiculously great snack.
:: fresh air. I love opening my windows for a few hours to get a nice, chilly, fresh feeling apartment.
:: jeff being off work all week. company has been good for me. the best company.
:: comfortable, albeit ugly, clothes. soft and cozy makes my day. poor jeff, I am such a sight.
:: gifts from kayleen. this dress and this white sailor tee make me so proud and happy every time. could you want a more perfect dress for a little girl? my favorite colors, my favorite pattern, my favorite way. and that shirt, sigh, you couldn't find that anywhere else.
*hop on pop, dr. suess. petra is really into dr. suess these days. she randomly spouts lines all the times. I guess he knew what he was doing after all.

A post from Chelsea!
Petra is like a little Shirley Temple. She's so darling, and those awesome clothes don't help either.
I would argue that one can never have too many flats... but that's coming from an awkwardly tall girl that can't really stand the way heels hurt her feet. I've had luck finding cute, affordable ones at Old Navy and sometimes Nordstrom (B.P. brand). Also, my favorite pair right now are super simple black leather flats on sale from Steve Madden. There are tons of great sales right now. And that was probably more info than you wanted :)
Also, you should totally refinish some furniture. It's not very hard and it is so worth it.
*Oops, I meant those clothes don't hurt either.
Ahhh stupid typos. That one sounded terrible. Forgive me.
and you're back! yay.
spencer has been eating a grapefruit a day these past couple weeks. you reeds.
in the midst of my insomnia last night i started thinking about what i'll make the little sister. i haven't pulled the sewing machine out since july, but for you guys i think i'll make an exception.
ps. i've been meaning to call you back. i swear. i just didn't recognize the number you called from, so i totally screened it.
